At the age of 3 ½ Carolyn was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and her parents were told that she would not live to graduate high school. Diabetes was only the first of many challenges that would demand attention in her life. Frequent bouts of unconsciousness, the death of a child and major medical procedures are some of the dark places she has traversed.
While some might see Carolyn’s life as one terrible, traumatic event after another, God had other plans. He has blessed and taught her valuable lessons in the midst of each obstacle.
